Nutty Sweet Potato Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
2 2/3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can sweet potatoes, drained
2/3 c. milk
3 1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease two 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans. Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy in large mixing bowl. Stir in eggs, potatoes and milk.
Blend in remaining ingredients except nuts.
Fold in nuts.
Pour into pans.
Bake 60 to 70 minutes or until done.
