Pesto - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. pine nuts
2 c. fresh basil leaves, firmly packed
3 cloves garlic, peeled
1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
3 Tbsp. softened butter
1/2 c. olive oil
freshly ground pepper to taste
Preparation

In a mortar and pestle, or in food processor, mash together the pine nuts, basil and garlic.
Add cheese and butter; blend. Dribble in the olive oil, mixing until you have achieved a paste. Add pepper.
