Gator'S Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1 carrot
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Grate cabbage and carrot.
    Add salt; let stand 1 hour.
    Heat vinegar, water, sugar and seeds.
    Let come to a boil; cool. Squeeze juice out of cabbage, then add vinegar mixture. Refrigerate overnight.
    Keep refrigerated.
