Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter (real)
    1/2 c. sweet cream
    1/2 c. white syrup
Preparation
    Cook ingredients over low heat, stirring constantly.
    When mixture becomes thick and starts to change color, lower heat and cook until very, very thick and almost burned.
    Pour on flat pan, like a cookie sheet, and immediately spread 1 cup chocolate chips over it.
    As chips melt, spread smoothly with a knife.
    When cool, break into pieces.
