Ingredients
    1 stick butter (4 oz.), at room temperature
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix butter and flour in a large bowl with a fork until mixture is the consistency of \"rice\".
    Add buttermilk and mix well.
    Turn onto a well-floured board and roll to a 1-inch thickness.
    Cut with a biscuit cutter and bake in a preheated 400\u00b0 oven until golden brown.
