Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1 medium onion
1 egg
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. Crisco
1/2 c. buttermilk

Preparation

Mix all ingredients well.
Drop by spoonfuls into hot fat until golden brown.
