Sour Cream Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. navy beans
    1 small onion
    1/2 lb. salt pork
    salt to taste
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. molasses
Preparation
    Soak the navy beans overnight in water enough to cover them. Drain off water and add onion with 1 quart water.
    Cover and cook slowly for 1 hour.
    Add more water if necessary until tender, drain.
    In deep casserole dish, add beans, salt, molasses, mustard and sour cream.
    Mix well.
    Add salt pork with rind exposed.
    Pour enough boiling water to cover the beans.
    Cover and bake at 300\u00b0 about 3 hours, adding water if it evaporates.
    Uncover the last hour to brown.
