Jen'S Strawberry Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large box sugar-free strawberry Jell-O
    1 pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
    1 prepared angel food ring cake, in broken pieces
    8 oz. Cool Whip Lite whipped topping
Preparation
    Prepare Jell-O as indicated on package.
    Pour into a large bowl.
    Let set in refrigerator until it begins to thicken.
    When 1/2 way thickened, combine with thawed strawberries and 6 ounces of whipped topping.
    Pour mixture over angel food cake in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
    Spread remaining whipped topping over dessert and garnish with strawberries.
