Baked Eggplant - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 eggplant
    1 small onion, chopped
    3 cloves garlic, chopped
    8 oz. spaghetti sauce
    4 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
    cooked meatballs or sausage (optional)
    oil
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut eggplant in half lengthwise.
    Scoop out meat and chop up.
    Set aside shell of eggplant.
    Saute garlic, eggplant meat and onion in pan with a small amount of oil until onion is transparent and soft, over medium heat.
