Baked Stuffed Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 full c. diced Italian bread
    1 c. chopped peeled Granny apples
    1/4 c. raisins
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. granulated sugar
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 Tbsp. hot water
    4 pork chops (1/2-inch thick for stuffing)
    1/2 c. water
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients.
    Saute onion and butter.
    Add to first mixture.
    Sprinkle in hot water and mix well.
    Slit pocket in chops.
    Stuff loosely with apple mixture.
    Close with skewers.
