Mamaw'S Homemade Chicken Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 lb. chicken
4 stalks celery, cut up
2 bay leaves
1 onion, cut up
8 c. water
3 carrots, peeled and cut up
1 1/2 c. egg noodles
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Cook chicken, celery, bay leaves and onion together until chicken is done.
Remove chicken from broth and cool.
Remove bay leaves from broth and add carrots, noodles, salt and pepper. Cover and cook at medium heat 20 minutes.
Remove chicken from bone.
Add chicken to soup and cook 10 to 15 minutes longer. Yield: 6 servings.
