Crabmeat And Artichoke Casserole(Yields 10 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. half and half
    1/2 c. butter
    4 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. white pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. Tabasco
    1/4 tsp. ground mace
    2 Tbsp. good dry Sauterne
    3 (14 oz.) cans artichoke hearts, cut in halves
    1 (8 oz.) can buttered chopped mushrooms
    1 lb. lump crabmeat
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Warm half and half slowly in a saucepan; make a cream sauce in a Teflon skillet.
    Melt butter in skillet over low heat.
    Add flour and blend with a wire whisk. Slowly stir in hot cream; add white pepper, salt, Tabasco and mace and cook until smooth and boiling; continue stirring.
    Adjust seasonings; more salt may be needed.
    Add Sauterne.
