Cherry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 to 2 tsp. butter
    1 egg
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 small bottle cherries
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Pour off juice from cherries in a measuring cup and finish filling with milk.
    Mix and let stand for 20 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
