Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. rice
4 c. milk
1/2 pt. heavy cream, whipped
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. diced almonds
cherry or blueberry sauce or syrup
Preparation

Melt butter in boiler; add milk and cook rice in milk over very low heat until all milk has been absorbed, 20 to 30 minutes. Cool.
This can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated until needed.
Before serving, add the whipped cream, vanilla and almonds.
Serve with fruit sauce or syrup.
