Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. washed strawberries
    1 3/4 oz. powdered fruit pectin
    7 c. sugar
Preparation
    In a 3-quart casserole, place berries and pectin.
    Stir well. Cover.
    Place in microwave oven and heat at Full power for 8 to 10 minutes, until mixture is at a rolling boil.
    Add sugar to boiling mixture and stir well.
    Return, uncovered, to microwave oven and heat at Full power 8 to 10 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes, until mixture reaches a full rolling boil.
    Let boil 1 minute longer.
