Nora'S Molasses Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c molasses
1/2 c sugar
1/3 c shortening melted
2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

Mix molasses, sugar and vanilla together.
Add shortening and stir.
Add soda to warm water and stir in mixture.
Add dry ingredients and beat well.
Bake at 350 degrees until middle springs back to touch.
