All Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. All-Bran (Kellogg's)
    2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
    1 qt. buttermilk
    3 c. sugar (can use 1/2 c. less)
    1 c. oil (liquid shortening)
    4 eggs
    5 c. flour
    5 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over cereal and cool.
    Set aside.
    Add buttermilk to sugar, beat in eggs and oil.
    Add to cooled cereals. Sift flour, baking soda and salt together and combine mixtures. Bake as many as desired (fill muffin tins 2/3 full).
    Refrigerate (will keep 4 to 6 weeks).
    When you use batter that has been refrigerated, do not stir batter, just dip out to fill muffin cups. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
