Shrimp Scampi With Fresh Herbs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. jumbo shrimp
1/2 c. olive oil
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 c. dry white wine
2 lemons, juiced
1 Tbsp. fresh basil
2 Tbsp. fresh parsley
1/4 lb. sweet butter (cold), chunked
linguini
Preparation

Peel and devein shrimp.
In large pan over moderate heat, saute shrimp in olive oil.
Deglaze pan with white wine.
Add garlic and lemon juice.
Reduce liquid to half.
Add herbs.
Add cold butter over low heat to complete sauce.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve over linguini.
Serves 8.
