Ingredients

4 large carrots, peeled and sliced
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 tsp. brown sugar
1 cooking apple, peeled, cored and chopped
2 tsp. water
Preparation

Combine ingredients in 1-quart casserole. Cover with plastic wrap or lid.
Microwave for 5 to 6 minutes on High.
Stir. Microwave again for 3 to 4 minutes on High.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
