Hopi Indian Potato Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 qt. warm water
    1/2 handful salt
    1/2 handful sugar
    1 c. evaporated milk (warm)
    3/4 c. dry potatoes (instant)
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 handful shortening or little more if you wish (Crisco)
Preparation
    Flour
    enough until you barely can
    handle
    and
    grease dough. Let stand 10 minutes. Knead and grease.
    Let rise until double size; knead and grease.
    Let rise again until double in size, then roll to desired size.
    (I usually make biscuits and freeze some.) Let dough rise double again and bake at 375\u00b0 for about 35 to 45 minutes. You can grease or butter to soften the crust.
