Cloud 9 Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
4 tsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg beaten
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Cut in shortening until mixture looks like coarse crumbs.
Add egg with milk all at once, stirring only until barely mixed.
Knead gently on lightly floured surface 18 to 20 times.
Cut with biscuit cutter.
Place on ungreased pan close together if you don't want a lot of crust, or 3/4 inch apart if you want them crusty.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes
