Mary Crowley'S Yummy Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. oatmeal
1 stick butter or oleo
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Pour water over oatmeal and butter or oleo; let this stand for 10 to 20 minutes.
Mix with other ingredients; stir gently.
Pour into buttered dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
