Sweet Potato Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 c. Wesson oil
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped dates
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. allspice
    4 eggs
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2/3 c. water
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together; add sweet potatoes, oil and 2/3 cup of water.
    Beat well and add eggs one at a time.
    Add pecans, dates and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Grease and flour a Bundt pan and a small loaf pan.
    Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    This makes a very large cake.
    Do not fill pans over 2/3 full!
