Velveeta Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (2 sticks) butter
    8 oz. Velveeta cheese, chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 (16 oz.) pkg. confectioners sugar
    1/2 c. cocoa
    chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter and cheese in saucepan over low heat or in microwave 30 seconds.
    Mix in vanilla.
    Pour over mixture of confectioners sugar and cocoa in bowl.
    Mix quickly until smooth. Spread in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan; pat pecans over top.
    Let stand until set; cut into squares.
    Yields 3 pounds.
