Cube Steak With Mushroom Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (4 to 6) cube steaks
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 c. vegetable oil
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Season cube steaks with salt and pepper. Sift flour over both sides of meat. Brown meat on both sides in hot oil in a heavy skillet. Add cream of mushroom soup that has been diluted with water. Cover pan; turn heat down to low and cook about 30 minutes until meat is fork-tender.
