Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans dark kidney beans, drained
    2 cans chili beans, drained
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. diced mushrooms (optional)
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. chili powder or more to your taste
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Use a 4-quart pot.
