Daddy'S Muscadine Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 bushel muscadines or scuppernongs
    12 1/2 lb. sugar
    churn
Preparation
    Mash grapes.
    Put in churn with 2 1/2 pounds sugar.
    Let ferment for at least a week.
    When through fermenting, strain to remove skins.
    Return to churn with 10 pounds sugar.
    Let ferment another week or two.
    Pour into bottles or jugs.
