Sweet Dill Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. dill pickle slices (drained)
1-1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. vinegar
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. water
1/4 tsp. granulated alum
1/2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation

Bring to boil the sugar, vinegar, and water.
Add granulated alum. Pour over pickles with celery seed added to the jar.
We keep a jar of these pickles in the refrigerator at all times.
