Shrimp Jambalaya(Serves 4 To 6) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
2 medium onions
1 Tbsp. flour
2 c. water
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf
1 chopped green pepper
1 (16 oz.) can chopped tomatoes
1 small can tomato sauce
dash of garlic powder
1 1/4 c. raw rice
2 c. cooked shrimp
1/2 c. dry white wine
Preparation

Saute onion in butter lightly. Add flour and stir until browned. Add water and stir constantly, forming a smooth paste. Add parsley, thyme, bay leaf, tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic powder and rice. Add and cook over low heat until rice is tender, stirring as needed. Add shrimp and white wine and warm thoroughly.
