Swiss Style Venison - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 venison chops or steaks
    flour, seasoned with salt and pepper
    1 medium onion
    2 stalks celery, tops chopped
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    1 can tomatoes
    1 tsp. oregano
    pinch of sweet basil
Preparation
    Roll meat in seasoned flour and brown.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and simmer for 2 hours or until tender.
    I put it in a crock-pot.
