Cranberry-Orange-Nut Bread - cooking recipe

2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. butter
1 Tbsp. orange peel
3/4 c. orange juice
1 egg
1 c. chopped cranberries
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease bottom of 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
With pastry blender, mix in butter until mixture is crumbly.
Stir in orange peel, orange juice and egg, just until flour is moistened.
Stir in cranberries and nuts.
Spread batter in pan.
Bake 55 to 65 minutes.
With spatula, loosen edges of loaf and cool on wire rack.
