Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 sticks butter or oleo
    3 scant c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. soda
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (8 oz.) sour cream
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add salt and vanilla.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Add flour and soda mixture with sour cream.
    Pour in tube pan.
    Bake in slow oven to start, then moderate.
