Apple Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
1 egg
1 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. diced apples
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

Butter a square cake pan.
Mix ingredients and pour into pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
Let cool and cut into squares.
