Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. oil
1 c. chopped green onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 tsp. chopped garlic
1/2 c. water
6 to 7 chopped tomatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 1/2 bay leaves
4 c. cooked rice
Preparation

Heat oil until it smokes.
Add onion, pepper, celery and garlic.
Cook over medium heats until veggies are limp, but do not brown.
Stir in water, tomatoes, salt, pepper, cornstarch, shrimp and bay leaves.
Reduce and simmer 35 to 40 minutes.
Serves 4.
