Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    salt and pepper to taste
    28 oz. can tomatoes
    1 medium chopped onion
    1/2 to 1 c. rice
    2 Tbsp. bacon grease
    6 to 8 large cabbage leaves
Preparation
    Place cabbage in boiling water until wilted, not soft.
    Mix meat with other ingredients, reserving 1/3 of tomatoes.
    Place equal amounts of meat mixture in each cabbage leaf.
    Fold leaves around meat to form rolls.
    Pour remaining tomatoes over cabbage rolls.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
