Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. Crisco
    dash of salt
    2 tsp. lemon
    2 c. flour
    1 stick margarine
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Then beat butter and sugar together.
    Add egg yolks.
    Beat until well mixed, then add flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla, lemon and milk.
    Last of all fold in egg whites.
    Pour in well-greased tube pan and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
