Pastry Pan Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 chopped onion
    8 to 10 potatoes, diced
    6 or more sliced carrots
    1/2 stick oleo
    salt and pepper
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 can water
    1 can crescent rolls
Preparation
    Grease 9 x 13-inch pan; crumble ground beef in bottom.
    Layer onion, potatoes and carrots; season.
    Slice oleo over all.
    Cover and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Mix soup and water and add to mixture. Cover; bake 15 minutes more.
    Unroll crescent rolls and lay on top.
    Bake until brown.
