Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large ripe tomatoes
    2 large onions
    2 large green bell peppers
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. distilled white vinegar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    cayenne pepper to taste
Preparation
    Peel and chop tomatoes and onions.
    Remove seeds from peppers and chop.
    Combine all ingredients in a large kettle and simmer for 1 hour or until thick.
    Pack into hot sterilized jars.
    Seal. Process for 5 minutes.
    Makes 6 half-pints.
