Linda Key'S Chocolate Chip Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. unsifted flour
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine (1 stick)
    1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In medium bowl, combine flour and sugar; cut in margarine until crumbly.
    Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips; press firmly on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in same bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, eggs and vanilla; stir in remaining 1 1/2 cups chips and nuts.
    Spread evenly over prepared crust.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until light golden brown.
    Cool completely.
    Cut into bars.
    Store covered at room temperature.
