Salisbury Steak Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. fine bread crumbs (dry) or 10 crackers, crushed
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 cans cream of onion soup
    1 Tbsp. ketchup
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Combine beef, 1/4 cup onion soup, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and eggs.
    Mix well and shape into oblong patties.
    Brush skillet with oil.
    Dip patties into flour.
    Brown both sides over medium heat.
    Pour off fat and arrange in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Mix remaining soup, 1/2 cup water, 1 tablespoon ketchup and 1 tablespoon sugar in small bowl.
    Pour into skillet and stir to loosen brown bits.
    Pour over patties.
    Cover with foil and bake 25 minutes.
    Turn patties.
    Bake 20 more minutes.
