Picante Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Pace picante sauce
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. Colby cheese, grated
    1/2 large bell pepper, chopped
    1 egg
    1 c. milk, soured with 1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 c. cornmeal
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Fry meat and drain.
    Mix cornmeal, flour, salt, soda and sugar.
    Add milk, egg and oil, mixing well.
    Add meat, onion, pepper, picante sauce and cheese.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 400\u00b0 for about 20 minutes or until brown.
    Cut into 24 squares.
