Surprise Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 (3 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 c. flake coconut
1 (8 oz.) carton whipped topping
Preparation

Mix and bake cake in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
While cake is baking, simmer sugar and pineapple.
Remove cake from oven; punch holes in cake.
Cover with pineapple.
Cool.
