Beef Ala Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lb. sirloin or rib steak
1/4 c. oleo
1/2 c. minced onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1/4 c. water
1 c. undiluted chicken soup
1 c. canned mushrooms
1 c. sour cream
Preparation

Combine flour, salt and pepper.
Rub meat with garlic, pound flour mixture into meat and cut into tiny pieces.
Melt butter, brown onion and remove.
Put more lard in and brown meat.
Remove meat; add water.
Stir.
Return onion, butter and meat to skillet. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Add soup, mushrooms and garlic. Cook uncovered on low heat 1 hour.
Stir occasionally.
Just before serving, stir in sour cream.
Serve over noodles or rice.
