Ragu Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 bushel ripe tomatoes, chopped fine
3 lb. onions, chopped fine
1 pod hot pepper (optional)
1/2 c. oil (Crisco or Wesson)
4 small cans tomato sauce
4 small cans tomato paste
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. basil
1 Tbsp. oregano
1 Tbsp. garlic salt
1 Tbsp. onion salt
Preparation

Mix all together and cook for 2 hours.
Keep stirring often. Will stick easy.
Put in hot jars and seal.
Makes 12 quarts.
