Potato-Cheese Braid - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour (approximately)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. instant mashed potato granules
    1/4 c. water
    1/3 c. milk
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    additional butter or margarine (optional)
Preparation
    Preparation:
    In medium bowl, mix yeast, 3/4 cup of the flour, the salt, sugar and potato granules.
