Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sliced onions
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. diced celery
    4 c. canned cut up tomatoes
    3 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 c. shrimp
    1 c. water
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 c. cooked peas
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. chile powder
    2 tsp. dry parsley
Preparation
    Cook onions, pepper, celery and garlic in oil until tender, about 10 minutes.
    Add flour, salt, sugar, paprika, parsley, Worcestershire sauce and chili powder which have been mixed with 1/4 cup water.
    Add remaining water and simmer 15 minutes.
    Add tomatoes, peas and shrimp.
    Heat thoroughly.
    Serve over hot cooked rice.
    Serves 6.
