Perfection Salad(Salad For 50) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 tsp green gelatin
    2 c cold water
    2 qt hot water
    2 c sugar
    2 c mild vinegar
    1/2 c lemon juice
    2 tsp salt
    8 c shredded cabbage
    4 c chopped celery
    2 c chopped green peppers
    1/2 c chopped pimiento or grated carrots
Preparation
    Soak gelatin in cold water about 5 minutes. Dissolve in hot water. Add sugar, salt, lemon juice and vinegar. Pour into large shallow pan. Chill. When it begins to thicken, add vegetables. Serve on piece of lettuce. Garnish with a little salad dressing.
