Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    2 c. diced ham
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 can tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    2/3 c. shrimp
    1 c. uncooked rice
Preparation
    In an electric skillet at 325\u00b0 melt butter.
    Add garlic and onion.
    Cook 3 minutes.
    Add green pepper, seasonings and canned tomatoes.
    Cook for 10 minutes.
    Add ham, shrimp, broth and rice. Cover; bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat to 250\u00b0 and cook 20 to 25 minutes, until rice is tender.
