Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 slices bacon, diced
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. onions, chopped
    4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
    salt and pepper
    1 c. milk
    3 slices American cheese
Preparation
    Fry bacon, celery, onion and potatoes until tender.
    You can add a little oleo if necessary.
    Cover with water and season to taste with salt and pepper.
    Simmer until done and vegetables are tender.
    Add milk and cheese and simmer until the cheese melts. Serves 4.
    This is a favorite winter lunch at our house.
