Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs or 6 egg yolks
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. milk, scalded
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly and combine with sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla.
    Slowly add milk; mix well and pour into 9-inch pastry-lined pie shell.
    Bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then in moderate oven at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
